What is in Season - warm weather
Warm weather crops are those generally grown in mid 40's to mid 90's temperature. When temps reach upper 90's and 100's (July - September) many items suffer greatly except for some such as Okra, Egg Plant and Malibar. Items of higher value we then grow under 50% shade cloth. We also have learned to grow Hydroponic Lettuce and certain baby greens in these temps also, as soil based growing is prohibitive in these conditions. Growing times shown are "rule of thumb" and vary year to year.
